Plot Summary :
Alina thought she had everything handled. Her life had been a mess since her fate was decided even before she had a chance to choose it and her own personal monster was always there to remind her of it. Alexei. Her fiance. He knew she was going to be his and he was always there to make sure of that. Until she was free of him. Those few moments of peace were interrupted and now she was back in his clutches.
Except this time it was worse because she was here willingly and due to a deal she made. This time she had no choice but to marry him and give him the heir he wants or have her family be destroyed by his hands.
Overall Opinion :
Why did I think this was a duet?! 😭 I can't wait more after that cliffhanger lmao.
Alina and Alexei were everything I wanted and so much more! I have been waiting for their book for a long time and this one certainly did not disappoint. We'll except for the cliffhanger lmao. But I'll get over it.
On an overall basis , the story was amazing and by the end things changed in a way that I certainly did not see coming. I know that the third part is going to be the best and also the most heart wrenching part of it all! Definitely waiting for more Alina and Alexei here.
Recommending this one to all the dark romance loving people out there!
