Plot Summary :
Sloane knows how to command a room. Her work is her life and there is no room for anyone else in there. The last thing she would expect is to get close with a client. But that is what happens and now there is nothing she can do to stop it. Xavier is everything she doesn't like , but a forced trip makes her realize that there is so much more to him and now that she knows that , it's even tough to stay away.
Xavier knows that Sloane is the last person he should be with. Not to mention the walls she has built up around her , it's nearly impossible to find the real her. Until he does. And now it's impossible for them to be like they were before.
Overall Opinion :
This series just keeps getting better and better! Sloane was one of the favorite side characters in this series , so her book was one of my most anticipated reads. Xavier was everything she was not , and their pair was truly made in hell. But that was until I saw how he understood her and how amazing they are both together.
This one is a standalone, and yes we get lots of cameos from a lot of other characters and many scenes from a certain cold volkov 🫂🤣
Ana always does this , she leaves these little scenes from the upcoming couple that just drives me crazy waiting for their book. She has done the same with Vuk now. It's so tough to wait for his book , I want to know how his story unfolds so badly!
Definitely recommending this one to all the contemporary romance loving people out there!
