Plot Summary :
Rae is not someone who gets rejected. So when a green eyed God rejects her directly, she is particularly wounded. Not to mention that she finds the same man making out with someone else moments later. His explanation of how she is a type of woman who is not meant for a one night stand, seemed pretty shitty in the face of her rejection. A few years later, those two are best friends and now Rae can't imagine her life without Austin.
A drink night in Vegas and an accidental marriage pushes these two together, forcing them to face the feelings they have been denying all along. But these issues are still there. Rae, a woman who hates marriage and Austin is someone who once married, will always do anything to make it work. It's a disaster. Their seemingly strong relationship is in chaos and not to mention the steam between them which made things even more tough. Will they be able to overcome it all and have the happy ending that should have been theirs all along?
Overall Opinion :
These two characters have been driving me crazy ever since I got a glimpse of them in the last two books of this series. This one is a stand alone with a bunch of crazy and funny characters and a storyline which will pull you in right from the first page.
I absolutely love Rae and Austin! Both of them are pure fire and Rae is definitely my girl crush now. I liked her the most as a side character, but as the main character ? She was a bomb. The storyline was amazing and there was less angst but I liked it anyway.
Definitely recommending this one to all the best friends to lovers romance loving people out there. Rae is a spitfire and Austin is the one man who is destined for her. The only hard part will be convincing her of that fact and making her let go of her bachelor life.
