He's mine ... don't ever forget that.
Milo lives in the barn, a cowboy through and through.
I live in a castle, but I'm not a princess.
When the only person who loves me dies, Milo's there.
As I get older, I no longer look at Milo like a big brother. I look at him like the man God made just for me.
With the first glimpse of freedom from my pathetic excuse for a father, I imagine a future with Milo. I dream of the day when we won't have to hide our feelings.
But Milo has a secret. He is not free.
The man I love is marrying the woman I hate.

Plot Summary :
Life has never been easy for Indie. She never had a family of her own but there was one person who made her feel at home. Milo. The boy she loved. The one she had crushes on for a long time and the one she knew she could never have. And not only because he would never want her in that way but because he was betrothed to her sister. Her enemy.
Overall Opinion :
This is one of the rare books that I have picked up from Jewel E Ann and it was good! I don't know why all of her books are always in my TBR lmao and I guess I need to start them soon.
Milo and Indie had a sweet but angsty tale that I loved as a one time read. The author did an amazing job creating these characters because I could literally feel all the emotions through her words. The way Indie had that innocent love for Milo and the way Milo eventually saw her as a woman he could love and return her love too.
Definitely recommending this one to all the contemporary romance loving people out there.
