Raised to be my father’s weapon against the Coven that took away his sister and his birthright, I would do anything to protect my younger brother from suffering the same fate. My duty forces me to the secret town of Crystal Hollow and the prestigious Hollow’s Grove University—where the best and brightest of my kind learn to practice their magic free from human judgment.
There are no whispered words here. No condemnation for the blood that flows through my veins. The only animosity I face comes from the beautiful and infuriating Headmaster, Alaric Grayson Thorne, a man who despises me just as much as I loathe him and everything he stands for.
But that doesn’t mean secrets don’t threaten to tear the school in two. No one talks about the bloody massacre that forced it to close decades prior, only the opportunity it can afford to those fortunate enough to attend.
Because for the first time in fifty years, the Coven will open its wards to the Thirteen.
Thirteen promising students destined to change the world.
If the ghosts of Hollow’s Groves’ victims don’t kill them first.

Plot Summary :
The only aim Willow ever had was to take revenge for her family. She was their hidden weapon and her life has been based on that fact alone. That is until she meets her aloof and dangerous Headmaster. Alaric. A man that is broody and dangerous should not be there. There is just something about him that alerts her but she can't put her finger on it. That is until he notices. Now nothing will be the same.
Because this whole time Willow thought she was one step ahead. That she was playing games with the school and was on the right path. If only she knew that she was just a pawn in a much more sinister game and that her headmaster, the man she feared and wanted in equal measure , will not let her go until he has everything.
Overall Opinion :
Omg! I was freaking out the moment I saw the blurb for this book. Like enemies to lovers , fantasy, student teacher , very dark and so much more?! It's like Adelaide created my dream book lmao.
This one is the first book of the upcoming series and I can't scream at you guys to read it. Like the author herself said that the hero of this book is very less of a hero and more of a villain and that is absolutely true about Alaric. That man was ughhh 🔥🔥
The ending of this book had me screaming, because wtf was that?!!! I want the next book like RIGHT NOW 🤣🤣 Definitely recommending this one to all the dark romance loving people out there. If you like genres like fantasy romance, student teacher , taboo , dub con , anti heroes , betrayal, plot twists and so much more , then please read this one!
