Plot Summary :
Fumi is in a bit of a pickle. Her father , whom she thought she knew, has been hiding a lot from her. Although he hates to hurt her, now their past has come back catching up to them and that means she needs to arrange a lot of money in a little bit of time. Things seem tough until she gets a golden opportunity dropped into her lap. Only it includes her boss who is also the most difficult man she has met. Not only is she with him , she has to marry him as well.
Gabriel is not a fan of marriage. However there is no other option left for him now and Fumi must be the choice for him. She is the most difficult woman he has ever met but it's good because this marriage will be temporary as both of them have their priorities sorted. If only he did not want to trap her forever and never let her go.
Overall Opinion :
Fumi and Gabriel are on fire! I absolutely loved the dynamic between these two and how things unfolded. I think this has to be the steamiest book of this series and after the Hunter duet this might be the darkest one as well. Gabreol and Fumi have a good story and I am glad that this one was not just the lovey dovey parts with the storyline completely gone.
This one was a standalone and can be read without the other books in the series as well . Definitely recommending this one to all the dark romance loving people out there!
